Fado em Cidades Históricas: Multi-page Website & Blog
A multi-page WordPress website developed from scratch for Fado em Cidades Históricas, a multicultural festival celebrating Lusophone culture through music, history, poetry, gastronomy and the arts. I handled the project from its initial infrastructure setup through final deployment, including domain and hosting setup, website development, responsive implementation, technical SEO, performance optimization and security. The website was designed not only to present the festival and its programming, but also to attract visitors and support audience acquisition for the event.

Implementation
From Infrastructure to Final Deployment
I was responsible for the entire website project from scratch. This started with setting up the domain, hosting and WordPress environment and continued through development, testing, optimization and final production deployment.
Multi-page Festival Experience
Rather than creating a single promotional landing page, I developed a complete multi-page website capable of organizing the different aspects of the festival. Visitors could navigate through event information, programming, artists, locations and editorial content while the blog provided space for additional festival-related communication.
Audience Acquisition
One of the main objectives of the website was to help turn awareness of the festival into actual attendance. The website structure, calls to action and contact flow were therefore developed around making event information easy to discover and giving interested visitors clear paths to engage with the festival.
Custom Front-end Development
In addition to Elementor development, I implemented custom front-end solutions where necessary. This included custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript for interactive elements such as artist content, as well as responsive adjustments and browser-specific troubleshooting, including Safari compatibility.
SEO, Performance & Security
I worked on the technical foundation of the website before launch, covering technical SEO, website speed, media optimization and WordPress security. The goal was to provide a fast and reliable website while keeping the WordPress structure manageable after delivery.
